What Is a Refrigerator Timer?

The defrost timer is a component of a fully automatic defrost refrigerator to control the defrost program. Its working principle is a micro-synchronous motor (approximately 3W), which is driven by a gear through a gear, and then adjusted by the cam. Time triggers a set of contacts to complete the control of the defrost program. The time for one rotation of the cam is generally 8 ~ 12h. The drive motor of the defrost timer is associated with the motor of the compressor, and it continuously works with the start and stop time of the compressor. The working factor of the compressor is generally 40% ~ 50%. Therefore, the refrigerator can be defrosted once every day and night. [1]
