What is a social phone?
Smartphone is a mobile phone with pre -loaded applications and Internet access, as well as a digital voice service. In addition to web browsing, services can include e -mail, text messages, camera, MP3 player and organizer. A social phone is a smartphone that is focused on social networks as its primary function. For several years, phones have had certain social networking skills, but in the second half of 2009 and in the first months of 2010 there was a new group of phones that took a social phone or social smartphone, the concept further debut. For example, Motorola® Motoblur® has a widget for its home screen that monitors three social networks: Facebook®, Twitter® and MySpace®. On MotoBlur®, social network messages are combined into a "universal inbox" that states all messages, e -mail messages and sms m.eseje in one convenient place. Facebook®, Google® Mail and Microsoft® Exchange®, T contacts are merged on HTC® HERO®The boot does not have to use a separate contact list for each application and have a similar function for each application.
At the beginning of 2010 at The Mobile World Congress, a new group of phones was debut that advanced in the concept of social phone. Manufacturers including Samsung®, Sony Ericcson®, HTC® and Microsoft® have shown a social phone with software programs that integrate different streams of information and collect updates in one place. The groups included a number of social network updates and in some cases e -mail. This means that users will no longer have to go to different websites to communicate with their friends.
In April 2010, Microsoft® Kin® introduced the first social phone named to reflect the social experience that it has a targeted. Kin® was created through a partnership between Microsoft® and Verizon Wireless®, Vodafone® and SharpCorporation®. Kin® with a release in the US and autumn release in the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain has two models - Kin® One and Kin® Two - that are designed to focus social networks.
Unlike some earlier social phones that have added social functionality with software, social networks are more integral in the way Kin® phones are created. The home screen, called Kin® loop, is always on and shows the channels from e -mail and social networks that can be preferred according to the selection of users that people should prefer. Other features include a place where any material to be shared - text, images, or videos - is dragged to collect it, and then sent through anything the user chooses. In addition, the phone automatically backs up most items to the cloud, so it is available from a web browser on any device or Computer.
