What is a teleprompter?
Teleprompter is an electronic device used primarily to display text and allusions for on-Air newsletter and other professional talents. The use of a teleprompter largely replaced the need for hand -written CUE cards or other challenges outside the camera, although many studies still use Cue cards as a backup method or emergency communication. Early teleprompters were used only when the actor was obliged to speak directly with the camera, as in the case of live ads. This teleprompter used paper scrolls to provide text and allusions to the air, who were often at the grace of read speeds selected by the operator or director Teleprompter. Another problem was the loss of direct eye contact when the artist read from the teleprompter off the screen.
In the early 80s, the cable wording was found for many of the first teleprompter problems. A personal computer can be used to generate and move electronic text on the monitor. This monitor could be placed nad or under the lens of a television camera without being visible for a domestic viewer. A special one -way mirror or a veiled piece of window glass could be tilted to reflect the text of the monitor towards the talent in the air.
Since this reflected text does not enter the camera lens, the content can only display talent in the air. This feature of the modern teleprompter allows the artist to maintain apparent eye contact with the audience while reading the prepared script. Reading speed can be controlled by camera operator, director or even talent. Teleprompter helps to create the illusion that a news anchor or politician speaks spontaneously when the words were cautiously scripted before broadcasting.
One of the technical challenges associated with the teleprompter is to create and display the text. Since the reflected image of the text is reversed, the original text display must also be reversed to kompenza nz. This function of reversed texts proved to be a challenge for programmers during the earliest days of text processing software. Turning text continues to be a problem for teleprompter programmers, but there are recent innovations in this industry that can provide the Teleprompter text without such changes.
