What is the weather doppler?
Weather Doppler is a device used to detect serious weather conditions, based on the principle described by Christian Doppler in 1842.
Christian Doppler was a professor of mathematics and astronomy. He introduced a paper that explained the principle that was named after it called: "In the color light of double stars and some other stars of heaven". Doppler described how the frequency associated with waves of light and sound differs depending on where they come from. It also plays the location of the observing wool. This principle was the basis for the idea that weather patterns can be observed by observing radio waves.
The United States National Meteorological Service began to install Doppler's weather equipment and completed the project by the beginning of the 90's. Meteorological stations are not the only places that radar can be found. Some television stations InvestoVala to buy your own equipment. Others get their information from the National Weather Service installations.
The weather of the doppler device sends radio waves. When the waves move from the antenna, they come into contact with a number of objects in the air. When radio waves hit precipitation stripes such as rain, snow or hail, they reflect back to the radar station. The concentration of other objects, such as dust or insects, also appears on Doppler's radar.
The weather Doppler lifts the reflections that appear as pictures on the radar screen. If the radar object moves towards the doppler weather, the waves are picked up at a higher frequency. Objects that have been from Doppler radar appear at a lower frequency.
Part of the weather Doppler is a computer program called the wind speed and direction. Frequency of radar waves are used to perform these calculations. InferOrmation taken from the pictures is used to predict the weather in a certain area.
Internet users can see Doppler's weather images on various online websites. They can see where the clotting belts are present, with the image showing rain, snow and ice pockets. Doppler's radar also shows whether the precipitation is light, medium or heavy. Public members can find out whether serious weather moves towards where they live, checking the doppler radar images online.
