What is the LED display?

LED display is a video display composed of light or LED diodes. LEDs are small electronic devices that produce a very effective light source. They are widely used in everyday devices from traffic lights to remote control. Many LED displays are used outdoors in billboards and storage brands. There are two classes of LED panels: conventional LED panels that use discrete LEDs and panels of the device mounted on the surface (SMD). Conventional panels are of these two more common, especially in large outdoor screens. In this type of LED panel, clusters of red, green and blue LED are grouped together and create numerous square pixels.

SMD technology is usually used to design the LED display that for use inside. The LED screens that use SMD also use red, green and blue LEDs to a typical LED display, consists of many -eated panels that are in themselves, are sometimes used as a form of lighting or lighting than for DSPlej. These pixels are every very minute, with individual LEDs that are smaller than Pinhead. The main practical differences between them are reduced maximum tracking distance with SMD and slightly reduced brightness. Both make SMD better LED technology for indoor applications.

The individual diodes that make up the LED display are an important technological advances that offer many advantages over other lighting sources. The LED is made of a transparent plastic case around a semiconductor chip, which has positive and negative terminals. The electrons flow into a semiconductor chip, which - because of its chemical nature - causes electrons to give energy off in the form of photons. Then we perceive these photons as light. Different semiconductors emit different light colors, including infrared and ultraviolet light.

LED has many advantages over traditional heat, typical light source in many domoall. First, LED is produced very little heat, unlike a large amount of heat created by tungsten bulb. In a traditional bulb, almost half of the energy is lost as warm. LED lights also use very little energy to operate. This makes the light source for devices such as traffic lights that work continuously.

The first LED displays screens were developed at the end of the 70s and their inventors received awards and recognition at the 29th exposition in Anaheim, California. At that time, however, the only available LED display was monochrome, because the effective blue LED was still developed. Effective blue LED diodisplers were needed for color, and they eventually appeared at the beginning of the 90.
