What is SMS message?
SMS is an abbreviation for a short message. This service, which is also commonly called text messages, allows users to send and receive messages using their mobile phones quickly. Many people believe that when messages are sent, there is communication directly between the sender's phone and the recipient's phone, but that's not true. The message must go through other parts of the cell network.
In order for a mobile phone to be an efficient device, it requires a mobile phone tower. The transmission range between the tower and the phone is called the control channel. After the person creates an SMS message, he presses the "Send" command on his mobile phone. This causes sending a message via the control channel. It will go to the SMS center, which is similar to the routing station.
The purpose of the SMS Center is to direct the message to where they have to go. Once it is determined, the message is sent via the mobile phone tower and using another control channel, then transmitted to the recipient's mobile phone. In some cases, the recipient may not beavailable. If so, the message is not lost. It is saved until it can be sent.
It is not always necessary to have two mobile phones to send a SMS message. For example, the text can be sent from a notebook to a mobile phone and vice versa. In any case, when a person receives a text message, he may or may not look as it was when sent. In some cases, some files or special characters cannot be sent from a network of one cellular carrier to another.
The first "S" SMS is simply because there are a limited number of characters that may fit into the message. The characters may include letters, symbols and spaces. In general, if a person exceeds this limit, the message may still be sent if the sender has sufficient credit to send numerous messages. The reason why budeping credit consumption for more than one message is because no more than the permitted number of characters will be sent in one SMS message. SMS message can be used for many things. Some are used for broadcasting that is similar to sending bulk e -mails. Broadcasting includes sending one message to a large number of people. Text messages can also be used to send automatic notifications. An example is when people receive automatic announcements when their banks or credit cards are used.
