What is EVP?
Electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are voices and sounds that appear on electronic records for no apparent reason. Some people attribute EVP paranormal causes and claim that these sounds are caused by communication from ghosts, extraterrestrials, ghosts, etc. Others suggest that these sounds can be caused by perfectly explained things such as feedback or incorrect recording technique. In any case, EVP is one of the big family of topics discussed in the parapsychological community, while some people are growing in a paranormal origin, while others consider it fraud.
The notion of paranormal began to attract great interest in the beginnings of the 18th century, with the rise of spiritualism. Spiritualists believed that they could communicate with the "other party" through people known as the media, and in the 19th century a large cottage industry was created to feed popular demand. Spiriturists also described paranormal experiences, in the extent of the kidnapping for persecution and spiritualUalism later grew up in parapsychology, which concerns scientific studies of paranormal activities. Some people call EVP "Raudive Voices" in reference to this pioneer. Raudive believed that EVP communication was generally short, often just a word or phrase, and suggested that it was a communication from the dead.
There are a number of ways to record EVP, and supporters of paranormal explanation for EVP often use more recorders and other techniques to make their recordings as much test as possible. Some people simply record white noise, listen to EVP signs, while others say they have identified EVP in recordings of speeches, songs, etc. EVP also reportedly comes to the radio waves and statics between television stations.
There are many secular explanations for EVP. Strange anomalies often arise in professional recording studios and sometimes a strange trick may occurY radio waves, transparent voices and snippets of material. People who claim to hear EVP could also expose pareidolia, tend to hear known patterns where there are no, or apophenies in which people identify meaning in a random event or pattern.
