What is a neon wire?

neon wire is a slang term for an electrolyuminescent wire, a special type of wire that brights clear when the current passes. Neon Wire is a relatively recent development that will hit the market around 2000. It consists of a copper core coated with phosphorus, wrapped in two very fine wires surrounding the core in a spiral arrangement, all protected by a thin plastic tire. When the charge flows through the wire, it causes phosphorus to emit beautiful light. The neon wire is very flexible, relatively cheap and comes in all kinds of colors. The neon wire can be powered by different sources - some models can be powered either by AC or DC. Its performance requirements are low enough to suggest people coated in wires, with built -in light batteries and wires clearly shining for hours. The sculptures can be highlighted by artistic wire application and programmed to turn on at night, creating a new and beautiful decoration.

Some companies also sell control units that accompany the neon wire, allowing the user to program them on and off as needed. The brightness of the neon wire varies with its thickness - a stronger wire can be very light. Despite its name, neon Wire contains no neon and can actually replace conventional neon lighting in many applications. It does not contain any glass, which is much safer and more difficult to break. The required technology for Neon Wire has been for some time, but it was simply not implemented until recently.

The neon wire is cool to the touch, so it's perfect to add to clothing or use for internal applications. Companies call a conductor a neon wire, an electrolyuminescent wire or simply EL wire depending on their preference. It is sold virtually unlimited ED and, like most products, its costs are significantly reduced when purchased in bulk. There are even professionals whoThey say they specialize in creating complex sculptures and neon wire designs, some more than 20 feet in height.
