What is sales display?

Sales point usually concerns any type of display used to advertise or sell products directly at or near the point of sale. "Point of Sale" refers to the area in a retail place where purchases are actually carried out, such as cash registers and registers used by mostly retail businesses. While people usually made their decisions and have already found out what they wanted to buy before they approach this location in the store, there is still an opportunity to decide at the last minute. The display with a point of sale is used to provide an opportunity for such a decision and often includes products usually purchased as "Impulse Buys". This usually applies to where cash registers or similar sales equipment are located. The display with the point of sale, the protore, refers to any type of display set at this point in the store. It can be as simple as an advertisement for a product located elsewhere in a store, especially if there is such a display at the entrance to the entrancetrade.

The sale point can also provide the opportunity to create a new sales. When customers approach the cash register, they usually have products that intend to buy with them. Other products that are actually on the sale display are usually determined as pulse purchases for the customer. Impulse Purchase is a product that someone usually doesn't come to the store to find but decide to buy for a moment.

For example, in a grocery store are candies, rubber and magazines often part of the sales view, because these items are often purchased on the whim. Someone who is waiting for the purchase of his food could start reading a magazine, interested, and eventually buy this magazine if he doesn't otherwise do it. On the other hand, in hardware stores, while some magazines are often found on the display on sale, on these displays you will find other items, JAKOs are Carpenter pencils, tape measures, batteries and gloves. These are often intended less as impulse purchases and more as a last minute shopping that the customer may want, but otherwise forgot to buy other items.
