How can I become a regional manager?

There is no set career path that would become a regional manager, even if you usually need some background in the field of management and policy. The position of the Regional Executive Director is usually chosen, although in some cases the Council will find or appoint you. You do not necessarily need higher education, although many politicians come from business, law or medical environment. Since the position of the regional director requires a high level of managerial expertise, it can also help show that you have these skills. Many people are mayors or have managerial experience in a professional world before they become a regional manager. This may be particularly important if you want to become a regional manager at a place where the Council will be responsible for appointment or hiring. In this case, you will have to show that you have the appropriate managerial skills as well as a request for any other work.
