What are the different types of MRI jobs?

Tasks aimed at displaying magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are usually defined by where the MRI technician works and the type of retained position. In most cases, MRI technology works closely with patients undergoing MRI scan, doctors order these tests and other radiological techniques within the healthcare department. Other types of MRI jobs include those related to the handling or repair of MRI equipment, as well as supervisory or managerial positions.

The vast majority of MRI jobs can be found in hospitals and large private or government clinics. Occasionally, MRI technology will also be responsible for transporting patients to the scanning room or training new technicians in the radiology department.

Clinics usually work during normal working hours, except for occasional weekend or night work. Those in supervisory positions usually work during normal working hours, and equipment techniques often travel and work on weekends to repair equipment.
