What is the district prosecutor doing?

The regional prosecutor works for his local government in the United States and is elected or appointed for this position. Although there are similar jobs in other countries, such as a crown lawyer in Canada and the main prosecutor in France, the regional representative is specific to the US. It usually prosecutes cases of crime in the region for which it works and can prosecute cases of juveniles. This person also usually manages an attempt to case in court or settles the case outside the court. In some jurisdictions, the District Public Prosecutor provides the legal council to the local administration and its employees, although he or she is not usually allowed to provide personal legal advice. Usually there is no limit, although the reigning prosecutor must win the following elections after his appointment.
