- Participate in the bidding process of pipeline projects throughout the process and provide relevant professional opinions;
- Responsible for pipeline process flow chart design, equipment layout drawing design and process pipeline design;
- During the project implementation phase, communicate with other relevant units for technical communication and coordinate project progress;
- Responsible for the pipeline construction project schedule, supervise the construction progress, and review the construction related costs;
- Responsible for on-site equipment and pipeline installation technical support, to resolve and deal with technical problems that occur on-site;

- According to different job title levels, the average annual salary of a junior pipeline engineer is 60,000 to 120,000 yuan; the annual salary of a senior pipeline engineer can reach 150,000 to 300,000.
- Although domestic universities do not yet have the formal specialty of plumbing, and there is no examination of registered plumbing engineers in the community, plumbing engineers are already a very mature and valued class of engineers. There are not many pipeline engineers who have actual field engineering experience and have a high level of design. Such talents are very popular in China. For example, pipeline engineers are needed in oil and gas storage and transportation, and HVAC projects. After gaining a lot of experience, a pipeline engineer can develop into a project leader or project manager. [1]
