Right!
An observer is a type of soldier whose main task is to draw a firing table, provide correct sniper data for snipers, and provide protection for shooters.
Observer tasks: 1. Draw a shooting table before sniping (for the shooting table, refer to the first sniper battle of life and death sniping, the observer draws on a piece of paper)
2. Calculate the distance and wind speed for the sniper, and provide the correct sniper data for the sniper. Temperature and humidity also have an impact on sniping, because during the flight of the bullet, air is a medium. When the temperature and humidity are different, the medium is different, and the speed of the bullet in different media will vary. So accurate temperature and humidity data will allow snipers to better target.
3. Select priority shooting target for the shooter
4. Observers usually carry automatic weapons during the mission to provide protection for the shooter.
5. In some sniper teams, the observer will replace the main shooter to complete the shooting if the main shooter is missed or the main shooter loses his will to fight.
