What Is Interdisciplinary Engineering?

Interdisciplinary categories refer to different disciplines to which (degrees) belong. In some schools, some majors have requirements for interdisciplinary disciplines when enrolling graduate students.

Catalogue of latest disciplines across disciplines

The latest academic degree awarding and talent training disciplines developed in 2011 added the category "Arts", with the number of first-level disciplines increasing from 89 to 110. Since 2012, the recruitment of graduate students has been carried out according to the new catalogue. This is the fourth time in 27 years that China has updated its disciplines and specialties. After adding "Arts" disciplines, there are 13 disciplines in China: philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, military science, management, and art. The newly added disciplines of "Arts" include five first-level disciplines: theory of art, music and dance, drama and film, art and design (with arts and engineering degrees). ^[2]
