- There are four main classification methods for classifying automobile cargo transportation. According to the distance, it can be divided into long-distance automobile cargo transportation and short-distance automobile cargo transportation. According to the weight of one consignment, it can be divided into automobile whole cargo transportation and automobile less-than-truck cargo transportation. The nature is divided into commercial automobile cargo transportation (public car freight transportation) and non-business automobile cargo transportation (private automobile freight transportation). The first three classification methods are related to freight rates and transportation organization methods, and the latter classification method is for the needs of transportation market management.
- Production process and transportation organization The automobile transportation production process includes three stages. Preparation stage: including operations such as grouping, shipping, tallying, dispatching vehicles and billing. The main tasks are to investigate and forecast the supply of goods, sign a transportation contract or agreement with the consignor, implement the consignment plan, do a good job of commercial work before transportation production, and dispatch car drivers and vehicles. Production stage: including operations such as loading, vehicle operation, and unloading. The main task is to compile and execute the automobile operation and operation plan, organize cargo loading, vehicle operation and unloading operations after reaching the destination. End stage: including operations such as delivery and settlement of freight. The main tasks are to handle the goods transfer formalities with the consignee and settle the miscellaneous transportation costs. To successfully implement the various operations in these three stages, we must rely on scientific transportation organization to coordinate all links in the transportation production process. Through the formulation of various operation plans and scheduling work, especially the automobile operation work plan and automobile operation scheduling, Use labor force as well as loading and unloading machinery, vehicles, and station facilities as fully and reasonably as possible to improve the efficiency of automobile use and the quality of cargo transportation, and obtain good economic benefits. In addition to the organization of general cargo transportation, there are also other forms of organization such as contract transportation, centralized transportation, and less-than-truck freight transportation. The method of organizing the transport varies according to the type of goods. For large-scale transportation of roads, super-heavy trucks and full-time personnel are required to conduct on-site command during operation; transportation of dangerous goods and perishable fresh goods shall adopt measures to ensure safety and quality; container transportation shall arrange for reception, transfer and return of containers Empty, delivery and other operations (see car container transportation). The organization of these transportation operations is more complicated than ordinary cargo transportation. In recent years, electronic computers and radio communication equipment have been widely used in accepting cargo consignments, scheduling vehicle operations, and settling freight charges.
- Transportation plan A plan for the amount of freight and cargo to be completed within a certain period of time. The transportation plans of automobile transportation companies include long-term plans, annual plans, quarterly plans, and monthly plans. Long-term plans, such as long-term plans and five-year plans, are strategic plans and long-term development goals for enterprises. In China and other countries that implement a planned economy, they are part of regional and national transportation plans and national economic plans. The annual plan is the basic basis for the organization of transportation production in the current year, and is the basis for the enterprise to formulate plans for labor, materials, finance, and costs. The quarterly plan and monthly plan are the basis for arranging the organization of transportation and production activities, among which there are indicators of transportation volume, vehicles and their utilization efficiency. The preparation of long-term and annual transportation plans is mainly based on economic surveys and forecast data, including the layout and output of industrial and agricultural production, household consumption, the development of transportation networks composed of various transportation modes, automotive technology, and energy. The preparation of annual and quarterly plans also needs to be based on the bulk supply of goods acquired through the signing of transportation contracts, and a more accurate survey and forecast of the market share of transportation markets and enterprises. The monthly plan is generally the running job plan for the current month.
- The method of determining the planned transportation volume The key to preparing the transportation plan is to determine the planned transportation volume of the goods. There are four main methods. Balance method: balance the output, sales volume and transportation volume according to the type of bulk cargo, and calculate and determine the planned transportation volume of the cargo. Coefficient method: First calculate the transportation coefficient of various bulk cargoes according to relevant statistical data (the volume of raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, etc. required to produce one ton of cargo, and compare it with the volume of production) Multiply the planned production volume of various goods by their respective transportation coefficients to determine the planned shipment volume of the goods. Proportion method: For the goods with various categories and scattered shippers, according to the statistical data of previous years, the year-on-year increase and decrease trends and proportions are comprehensively calculated, and the planned transportation volume is calculated according to this proportion. Rule method: Calculate the planned transportation volume of various bulk goods according to the material consumption quotas of each production unit and its planned output. No matter which method is adopted, the average transportation distance should be measured at the same time when determining the planned transportation volume, so as to determine the planned turnover of the cargo.
