What is FFA?
Future Farmers of America (FFA) is an organization of services and education to support agricultural education in the United States. Since 1988, the organization has changed its official name to reflect the changing nature of American agriculture, which includes everything from pasture to organic poultry to biofuels. Although many people in the United States associate FFA with state trade fairs and livestock shows, there are many more aspects of the organization, and at the beginning of the 21st century, the FFA began to promote broadly, designed to include many aspects of American agriculture. This mission has been an important part of the FFA activities since the opening meeting in 1928. From the beginning, FFA offers education in the class of agricultural topics, along with supervised projects to provide practical experience. FFA members can also compete in a number of disciplines, including management of livestock and public expression. While FFA members may certainly decide to study and manipulate livestocks together with agriculture, can also explore many other issues related to agriculture.
