What are the causes of Iud bleeding?

A small amount of light bleeding IUD is usually normal for several days immediately after Iud insertion. For most women, this bright bleeding is actually just slight spots and it should most disappear within two or three days. Some women could also notice a certain spotted between periods during the first few months of using IUD. In addition, the heavier menstrual periods are also common for the first few months after the insertion of IUD. Almost all IUD types cause some minor bleeding after originally introduced.
