What are the different kinds of IVF procedures?

There are many procedures that can be involved in in vitro fertilization (IVF). Eggs must be harvested, collected sperm cells, and both combine to form an embryo. Once the initial procedure is completed, further procedures must be carried out, such as freezing unused embryos for another session if required. Hormonal injections, ultrasound and pregnancy tests are other types of IVF procedures that can be performed at a certain point during the fertilization process.

In vitro fertilization is a procedure that involves the use of sperm and fertilization of the egg outside the body. This is usually done for couples that children cannot usually have because of physical or hormonal problems. They may include low sperm number, polycystic ovary syndrome, low sperm mobility, or lack of ovulation for other hormonal reasons. Once the eggs are fertilized, they are inserted into the body of women, where perhaps they are implanted in the uterus and begin to evolve like any of the pregnancy.

This process is one of the primary IVF procedures, but there are several others that may be required before and after this part of conception. Women with hormonal problems may have to endure progesterone, LH or human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) injections to prepare their bodies for pregnancy. Maybe it will have to continue during the first half or even the whole pregnancy. If there are physical abnormalities in women, other IVF procedures may be carried out in order to correct and prepare its body for pregnancy.

After embryo is inserted, the remaining embryos may be the remaining embryo. These can be frozen in a process known as the Embryo Kryoconzervation. This keeps them viable if the first IVF procedures fail and another round of treatment is needed. Sometimes couples can also decide to donate their embryos to another couple, which has problems with fertility.

ultrasound as trans-ABDOminal, so trans-vaginal, are also IVF procedures. Both types use doppler wands to allow doctors to see inside the female body. They are essential when embryos are implanted so that doctors can see the best place for their insertion, and after pregnancy it is confirmed to check the tones of heart heart and grow and develop the fetus.

To indicate success or failure IVF, the pregnancy test will also be carried out about two weeks after the procedures. Sometimes a urine test will be carried out, although blood tests are generally more accurate to determine early pregnancy. To confirm pregnancy and determine how many embryos exist, further ultrasound can also be performed.
