What are the most common causes of sinus pressure in the ears?

The most common causes of sinus pressure in the ears are infections of sinus, cold, influenza, ear infections and allergies. The ear pressure is caused by the eustachian tube, the narrow passage between the middle ear and the back of the neck, blocking tissue swelling or increasing mucus production. When the eustachian tube is clogged, it is compression in the middle ear, resulting in a feeling of clogged ears and possibly pain. Blocked tube can also capture bacteria and viruses inside the center of the ear, leading to ear infection and an even greater sense of pressure. The mucus swelling swells, contains and isolates a foreign body, which helps to prevent the spread of infection. Swollen mucus membranes also increase mucus production in an effort to take away a foreign body. All this is useful in most parts of the body, but in the ear and the Euszi Tachian tube occasionally retreat. The immune response causes swelling and production of mucus, which can easily cause partial or complete blockage of a narrow tube, especially in children. The result is the pressure of sinus in the ears.

The

sinus pressure increases when the caught bacteria or viruses cause ears infection. Infections usually appear several days after sinus infection, colds, influenza or prolonged and severe allergic reaction. It is characterized by relatively extreme pain and ear pressure, fever and dizziness.

Unpleasant pressure in the head often accompanies the pressure of sinus in the ears. This is because the cavities are located in the forehead, behind the cheekbones, between the eyes and behind the eye. Swelling and ethics can quickly lead to pressure.

The best way to relieve pressure is to use a decongestant that will reduce swelling in the mucous membranes and reduce mucus production. These drugs usually reopen the Eustachian tubes and alleviate pressure feelings. If the pressure continues, the symptoms of the ear infection are impaired or observed, antibiotics may be required. Surgery for inserting tubes into the middle ear is common for children suffering from frequent ear infections.
