What Causes Penile Itching?

Causes of glans pruritus
- Infection

Clinical manifestations of glans itching

Small ulcers can be seen after secondary infection with malodorous milky purulent discharge. - 4. Trichomonas foreskin balanitis
- The glans develops pimples and erythema, gradually expanding, and the edges are clear. Needle-sized blisters can be seen on the erythema, and finally an erosion surface is formed.
Glan itching test
- 1. Routine urine examination, to understand whether there is infection in the urethra, if necessary, do smear examination to determine whether it is caused by fungi or bacteria.
- 2. Take urethral secretions and check for chlamydia and mycoplasma infection to determine whether it is non-gonococcal urethritis.
- 3. Prostate examination is used to understand whether the glans itching is caused by prostatitis.

Differential diagnosis of glans itching

Balan Itching Treatment
- Treatment of the primary disease that causes itching on the glans.
- Wash the topical or iodine disinfection daily; or clean with Jieeryin, apply topical fluorine frost to relieve discomfort.
- Bacterial infections caused by topical washing with 1: 5000 potassium permanganate solution, coated with antibiotic ointment, commonly used compound ketoconazole ointment. Take antibiotics at the same time.
- You can choose physical therapy. Foreskin surgery can also be done to prevent inflammation.
Balan itching prevention
- 1. Pay attention to personal hygiene on weekdays. If itching symptoms occur, you should go to the hospital immediately.
