What is a Cartridge Filter?
The cartridge filter is mainly composed of a pipe, a cylinder, a filter basket, a flange, a flange cover and a fastener. Installed on the pipeline can remove large solid impurities in the fluid, so that machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and meters can work and run normally, to stabilize the process and ensure the safety of production.
Cartridge filter (LTGSI, SII, SIII) working principle: When the liquid enters the filter basket through the barrel, solid foreign particles are blocked in the filter basket, and the clean fluid passes through the filter basket and is discharged from the filter outlet. The main applicable materials are:
1. Weakly corrosive materials in chemical and petrochemical production, such as water, oil, ammonia, hydrocarbons, etc.
2. Corrosive materials in chemical production, such as: caustic soda, soda ash, concentrated dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, uronic acid, etc.
3. Low temperature materials in refrigeration, such as: liquid methane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen and various refrigerants.
4. Materials with hygienic requirements in food and pharmaceutical production, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, syrup, etc. [1]
The main structural material of the filter is carbon steel, low alloy steel or stainless steel, which are represented by code C, M, and S, respectively. The working temperature of various material filters is as follows:

The flange connection dimensions of the two ends of the filter are in accordance with the Ministry of Chemical Industry Standard "Chemical Pipeline Filter" HGJ532-91.
Flange standards: GB, HG, SH, HGJ, JB, ANSL, JIS and other standards.
Housing material: carbon steel, stainless steel (304, 304L, 316, 316L), fluorine-lined, plastic (PP, PVC, etc.).
Coarse filter element: filter frame and screen are stainless steel.
Material of sealing ring: PTFE.
