What is a click on the heart?

Numerous cardiac conditions can cause sound sound known as clicks on the heart. Clicking on the heart is only an abnormal sound of clicks that occur before, during or immediately after each heart rhythm. Typically, these sounds are the result of heart -value problems such as mitral valve prolapse, mitral stenosis or pulmonary stenosis. In short, because different heart valves do not open or close correctly, creating clicks or raising sound that can be heard by a stethoscope. Heart clicks, known as Adventitial Sounds, are an audible medical feature of possible structural problems in the heart. The mitral valve allows blood from the left atrium to flow into the left ventricle and out into the rest of the body. As blood flows, the mitral valve closes to prevent any blood from returning to the left atrium. Patients with a mitral valve prolapse are deformed or otherwise defective mitral valve, which are not properly closed. When the valve closes, you can hear a sound click, known as medium systolic clicks.

alternatively, mitral valve in patients with mitral stenosis does not open properly. While in the prolapse of the mitral valve, the valve does not fold correctly during heart contractions, mitral stenosis occurs when the muscle is released, a period known as diastole. Among the contractions, the mitral valve opens at the very beginning of the diastole. The heart with mitral stenosis creates a sound when opening the valve, which may also sound like a click on the heart.

lung stenosis, also known as lung valve stenosis, is the result of an obstacle between the right ventricle and the pulmonary artery. Such obstacles are usually congenital, similar to the prolapse of mitral valves and mitral stenosis. Also as mitral stenosis, pulmonary stenosis causes the heart of clicks when the lung valves do not completely open. The blood flow to the lungs designed to absorb oxygen for transport to the left side of the heart is limited. Plithe stenosis that results in clicking on the heart known as clicks

Although the result of defects in different heart valves is, most heart sound sounds cause few symptoms or problems above sound sound. Severe deformities, other heart problems and age can wear defective valves, which eventually leads to heart or pulmonary problems. However, most patients experience small, if at all, problems stemming from clicking on the heart.
