What is a clear interval?

Lucid interval is the time that a person with a head injury is conscious after being unconscious due to impact. The interval lasts until they fall unconscious again. The unconscious monitors a clearer interval, because during the interval blood accumulates on the brain and causes extreme pressures on brain tissue. The lucid interval ends by becoming so large that the person loses consciousness. If medical intervention is not quickly obtained, they are at high risk of death. They are unconscious for a few minutes and then wake up. This is where the lucid interval begins. After the injury has suffered, one can be fully aware of the seriousness of their condition. Wake up and work normally, perhaps with a sore head they associate with the knocking they have received, the epidural hematoma progresses, as minutes or hours.

Epidural hematoma is brain bleeding where blood accumulates between the skull and dura mater. Dura Mater is a hard membrane covering the brain. Blood is still building while a person does not realize their condition.

Lucid interval is an interval or time when the injured person is clear or conscious, and in many cases they continue to operate relatively normal than the effects of epidural hematoma will again cause unconsciousness. During the interval, blood continues to be built in the skull until the pressure and compression force on the brain becomes so large that it loses consciousness. Dying is at risk if medical assistance is not urgently obtained.

It is important to seek medical attention to head injury, although the wounded person seems to look good. The lucid interval can create an illusion that a injured person has recovered when in fact deteriorates their condition. Alcohol effects can also mask any symptoms of epidural hematoma such as headache and nausea.

Under the supervision of a physician, the injured person is examined by a head injury. There may be an overview of a temporary interval or the patient may be really good but the doctor performsTe tests such as eye examination or brain scanning to seek symptoms. The patient is usually subject to the observation period after the examination to make sure they are fine. Having epidural hematoma is fatal up to 15 to 20% of people suffering from it.
