What is the womb of polyp?
The veil is growing inside the uterus. Polyp can be from a fraction of the thumb (a few millimeters) of size to the inch (2.54 cm) or more. Most of the uterus polyps are not cancer, but some cancers begin as polyps. Polyp of the womb could disappear alone, but some need to be removed or treated with drugs. The womb polyp can affect the normal menstrual cycle and may even cause infertility.
The uterine lining consists of cells called endometrial cells. This lining is diverted during menstruation. The lotion polyp consists of endometrial cells and grows from this lining, but does not fall during the period. The polyp grows into the uterus as a round or oval shape and is attached to the lining with a thin stem or a stronger base.
polyps are most common in women aged 40-60, but younger women may also have polyps. Women who use tamoxifen with breast cancer, those who are obese or those that have a high blood pressure. The cause of polyps is unknown but seems to be affected by levelshormones.
A woman could have a libum polyp and show no symptoms. Most of the symptoms of the uterus polyp concern unusual vaginal bleeding, but infertility is another symptom. If a woman menstruates unusually severely, she has an irregular menstrual cycle, bleeding between periods or bleeding after menopause, she may have a veil.
An unusually difficult period or infertility may also indicate the presence of a cervical fibroid. The uterine polyps differ from the uterine fibroids, because the fibroid is to overgrow the uterus muscle and not the endometrial lining. Uterine fibroids may also have other symptoms such as pelvic pain, intestinal problems or bladder problems.
Theuterine polyps are diagnosed either by ultrasonic procedure or the internal inspection of the womb by means of the tethelescopic tool called the hysteroscope, which is inserted vaginally. The doctor may also perform kyrettage, which is scratching the uterine wall,Either to collect samples or to remove polyp. Scratches can be tested to see if the polyp was precancerous.
Another temporary treatment of uterine polyps is the drug to reduce the polyp. Medicines do not cure polyps and cannot prevent the state from returning. If samples of curettage indicate cancer, the womb can be removed. This procedure is known as hysterectomy. Sometimes, if a doctor thinks that polyp is not cancer and is harmless, he could tell the patient to simply wait because polyps sometimes retreat spontaneously.
