What is Andropaus?

often referred to as the state of androgenic decline in the aging man (or simply Adam), Andropaus refers to a set of health symptoms that are often grouped under the popular cultural head of menopause of male. Many symptoms are associated with physical origin, such as a decrease in testosterone production. Here are several backgrounds about the phenomenon of Andropause, including some current methods of treatment.

There is a certain amount of disagreement about whether Andropause is really a clinical condition. One thought school claims that because many symptoms are directly tied to a change in testosterone production as a man of aging, that the condition is really the one that deserves a classification. Other people believe that chemical changes are relevant to most symptoms and that the condition is better considered a social or cultural phenomenon. Whatever the disagreement of how the Andropauseified class should be, there is an almost universal agreement that reference to a condition as a male menopause is incorrect. FemaleA menopause signals the end of the time of life, when a woman is able to carry children, while Andropaus rarely prevents a man from fathering children.

There are a number of physical and emotional conditions associated with Andropaus. Changes in libido are common, while the quality of men's erection sometimes changes. Lower testosterone levels can also lead to lack of energy in general, which in turn can cause some changes in the ability to concentrate, increase sensitivity to light and sound and emotional depression. Many doctors recommend a number of testosterone substitution therapy. This form of therapy essentially concerns injections or other means of absorbing alternative doses of testosterone. The dosage will vary depending on the findings of the attending physician. Substitution therapy is supported by changes in eating and exercise samples. Combined these approaches help to improve the general physical condition and mental outlook.

Because many men are reluctant to see a doctor, especially when it comes to changes in sexual desire and performance, the number of men who currently receive Andropause treatment, or may not be representative for the male population in general. While all men experience a decline in testosterone production over the years, some men are experiencing a slower decline. The level of physical activity and fitness, as well as eating habits, can often minimize the severity of the symptoms associated with the condition.
