What Is Collagen Disease?
Collagen disease (collagen disease) is caused by defects in procollagen gene transcription, translation process defects and various modified enzymes after translation. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body, accounting for more than 20% of the total protein in the human body. It is an insoluble fibrous protein and is found in various organs and tissues in the body. It forms an extracellular matrix with elastin, glycoprotein and proteoglycan, forming a scaffold for various tissues and organs. [1]
