What is ecborn syndrome?

Ekborn syndrome, also called Wittmaack-Ekborn or restless leg syndrome (RLS) is a state that represents a challenge for almost 3% of the population. The condition is characterized by involuntary movements of the legs and unpleasant or prickly feelings in the legs. This happens especially when people are in a relaxed state, for example just before bedtime at night. Symptoms can be difficult to handle because they prevent people fully relaxing and often from sleep well. The only possible reference is that the condition can be inherited. Inheritance is not fully understood. If RLS has no basic cause that can be identified, it is called primary or idiopathic RLS .

In other cases, ecborn syndrome has specific causes and is called secondary RLS , which can respond to treatment and respond well and reduce the symptoms of RLS. Iron deficiency is the main cause that can be solved by the use of iron supplements. Pregnancy can result in temporary cases of ekbornov withyndrome. RLS may become a symptom of conditions such as thyroid disease, Parkinson's disease, certain forms of arthritis, diabetes and some autoimmune conditions. Managing these conditions can help people overcome RLS in many cases. Some types of secondary RLs, such as those resulting from Parkinson's disease, may be much harder to heal because the treatment of primary disease remains elusive.

Anyone can get Ekborn's syndrome, although most likely to occur in people who are 40 years or more. It seems that the population of seniors suffers most of this and the condition tends to gradually deteriorate as one ages. It is not uncommon for the condition to occur in children or young adults, and in most cases treatment is required to prevent complications of syndrome.

Basic symptoms that must be pounding for the purpose of diagnosing RLS is as follows:

1. To feel the needsU, unknowingly expressed that one must move his feet.
2. In voluntary leg movement, some symptoms are reduced.
3. At night or during the period of relaxation, there are more serious symptoms during the day.

Many things can try to help with Ekborn syndrome. First, many people benefit from obtaining iron supplements, regularly exercising and reducing food intake with stimulants such as caffeine. Some medicines may worsen the problem and, if possible, are eliminated. For example, the use of antihistamines or cooling medicine may increase symptoms. Finding antihistamines specific to the steroid area can help reduce allergies without increasing symptoms. Some people benefit from the diet lower in gluten and simple starch.

Many people require further medical treatment to solve RLS. Drugs that increase dopamine levels are often used Ropinirole, one of the latest drugs that appear for the treatment of Parkinson's disease and RLS and pramipexol. Some liEKBORN syndrome is better supported by the use of medicines for sleep or calming, painkillers such as codeine or anticonvulsants.

When RLS is controlled by medicines, diet and occasionally alternative therapies such as acupuncture, many people consider a great improvement as their symptoms. This can have an extremely extremely beneficial impact on the quality of life. Less symptoms come better sleep, more opportunities to rest and a chance to live a fully normal life.
