- Lymphography is a simpler, safer and more reliable diagnostic method for examining lymph node lesions. It can observe the internal structure of lymph nodes, may find small lesions that do not increase in the lymph nodes, and may identify benign reactive lymphadenopathy and lymph node tumors.
- The following two methods are often used:
- Lower extremity lymphangiography: Inject the staining agent subcutaneously on the 1st and 2nd toes, and then cut open the skin to reveal the stained lymphatic vessels, inject the organic iodine contrast agent, and take pictures after injection and 12, 24 hours later to make the lower limbs , Pelvic and retroperitoneal lymph vessels, lymph nodes. This method is helpful for the diagnosis of lymph node metastasis of penile cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer and chyluria.
- Sperm cord lymphangiography: Use a fine needle to inject an appropriate amount of contrast agent through the spermatic cord lymphatic tube, and increase or decrease the injection dose according to the thickness of the lymphatic tube. Take the first film at 2 ml injection, and then take one tablet every 30 seconds. This method can show the aortic lymph nodes at the level of lumbar vertebrae 1 and 2. This group of lymph nodes is the first stop of lymphatic metastasis of testicular tumors, so it is mostly used in patients with testicular tumor resection.
