What is myopia?

approaching or myopia is the most common cause of blurred vision when viewing objects at a distance. People with this condition must squint or bother to see objects that are not nearby. This is the most remarkable for children in a classroom where it can be difficult to read the board. At home, a child with nearsightedness could insist on sitting near the television or holding books very close to his face. When this happens, the light entering the eye lens does not reach the retina on the back of the eyeball, but focuses just before it. The result is blurred vision.

close is not considered to be a disease, but caused by a natural shift in the shape of an eye. If one or both parents have a problem, their children will have it more likely. Some evidence suggests that Brought may also be a condition of doing too much close work for a longer period of time. Fortunately, there are many ways to treat this problem with this problem.

Goggles can fix myopia and progress in the lens material has caused the glasses more comfortable than ever. Suddenly serious cases required strong lenses that distorted the face, so the eyes look unusually small, but that's no longer true. Special lenses today can be so thin and light that it can hardly be seen, while repairing almost any degree of nearsightedness.

For those who do not like to wear glasses, contact lenses are another option to fix this vision problem. Hard or soft lenses are available in clean or tinted styles. Some people like to buy tinted contacts to change the color of their eyes. Others have difficulty placing on the eye, or have unusually dry eyes that reduce the type of lens that can be worn.

If glasses and contacts are undesirable, implanted lenses or laser surgery are two more options to repair myopia. These options are more expensive than contact lenses or glasses.

ACKOli rare, there are other possible causes of myopia, which can be serious. Advanced or uncontrolled diabetes can cause vision problems, as well as a state called pathological myopia in which the back of the eyeball continues to grow around adulthood. Cataracts can also cause blurred vision.

In most cases, however, people suffering from myopia can easily be alleviated by one or more of these treatments. If the onset occurs in childhood, the vision of a person usually deteriorates into early adulthood, then stabilizes. In general, myopia is not improving in itself, although it could improve somewhat because patients approach the middle age or their higher years.
