What is blindness of perception?

The perception of blindness, also called perceptual blindness or inattentive blindness, is a type of visual perception. It is a phenomenon in which people do not see things in sight. The brain controls what is being processed, even if the eyes see information. There are four factors that determine which visual information processes the brain and which information is discarded - conspicuousness, workload, expectations and capacity - and imbalance in any of them can lead to perception blindness.

The senses of the human body constantly collect information. Unfortunately, not all of this information is processed for perception. This is because, although there is no limitation of incoming information, there is a limit to what the brain can process. For this reason, the brain uses four factors to determine which information is processed. The perception of blindness is likely to occur when some of these factors are unbalanced. Sensory visibility is the way of brain to perceive things based on colors and shapes, while cognitive imaginative is the quantityThe relevance that the brain gives to visual information. Both aspects can be handled by the brain. Some background information may be discarded if they are not suitable for brain goals sensory or cognitive vipavity, such as a particular flag that blows between several others, or a person who has a black shirt among many people wearing black and white shirts. These are cases of blindness of perception.

The workload concerns the brain workload. Grinding perception occurs more often, while the brain is also trying to perform other tasks. Multitasking is common to many people, but performing two same types of perception can reduce the amount of attention provided by the brain. Two visual tasks, drought when watching cyclists' ride and watching pedestrian brands can cause a greater brain load, which can lead to missing information.

Expectations and capacity are the last two factors that mOhou influence blindness of perception. People expect things to look in some way, especially if they were the same for a while. If something changes, these objects can be overlooked. Capacity is the amount of attention every person can pay and differ depending on the mental ability of each person to learn.

Blindness prevention includes a few steps and a little time. The detachment from the task should be minimized. Focusing on specific tasks by one should be practiced. Large tasks can be divided into smaller ones. While working on long tasks, short breaks can help regroup thoughts and allow the brain to relax for a few minutes.
