What is Retrograde Ejaculation?
Retrograde ejaculation refers to the orgasm and ejaculation feeling during sexual intercourse, but no semen is discharged from the urethra, and there is sperm and fructose in the urine after intercourse. That is, semen flows into the bladder retrogradely. Mainly due to the inability to close the bladder neck or excessive urethral resistance in the membrane. - Diagnosis can be based on the above symptoms.
- 1. Abnormal anatomy of bladder neck or sphincter nerve injury in urethra: such as postoperative injury of enlarged prostate.
- 2. Nerve injury: Nerve injury caused by postoperative rectal cancer.
3. Obstruction: posterior urethral stenosis, posterior urethral valve, hypertrophy, etc., prevent semen from being discharged outward.
4. Drugs: take antihypertensive drugs, antipsychotic drugs, etc.
