What Causes Script Errors?

The browser used by the visitor cannot fully support the script in the page, forming a "script error". When encountering a "script error", a very ugly script execution error warning window usually pops up. In fact, script errors do not affect website browsing, so this warning can be described as redundant. Note: Server-side scripts-like Visual basic scripts in Active Server pages (ASp)-run on the Web server. Script errors due to server-side script failures do not generate error messages in Internet Explorer, but may also create a web page that does not display or work correctly. The troubleshooting information in this article applies to server-side scripting errors. If you suspect a problem with the server-side script, contact your web server administrator.
