Do you know what QWERTY is? It refers to the first 6 letter keys on the first line of the keyboard. Have you found that the arrangement of these 6 letters and the other 20 letters on the keyboard increases the difficulty of typing? If so, why use such an arrangement? Let us find the answer.
1.QWERTY keyboard is to reduce typing speed
Initially, the keyboard of the typewriter was arranged in alphabetical order, but if the typing speed is too fast, some key combinations are prone to jamming problems, so the inventor Christopher Latham Sholes invented the QWERTY keyboard layout. Commonly used
The abrasion resistance of the keyboard is very important, which is also a parameter to distinguish the quality of the keyboard. Some miscellaneous keyboards are printed with the characters on the keys, so it wo nt be long before the characters on them are worn away. The advanced keyboard is engraved with laser, so the wear resistance is greatly enhanced.
Common keyboards can be divided into two types: mechanical and capacitive. Most current keyboards are capacitive keyboards. There are two types of keyboards: ordinary standard keyboards and ergonomic keyboards. The shape of the ordinary standard keyboard is boxy, and the ergonomic keyboard adds a wrist tray according to the ergonomic principle, and divides the main keyboard into two parts. Fatigue is good for health. According to its type, there are other types of keyboards, such as AT interface (big mouth), PS / 2 interface (small mouth), and new USB interface. In terms of functions, there are ordinary keyboards and multifunctional keyboards. The multi-function keyboard adds some function keys on the basis of the ordinary keyboard. Through these function keys, you can quickly operate the computer (such as surfing the Internet, watching VCD, adjusting the volume, shutting down the computer or letting the computer hibernate, etc.) to improve work efficiency. When buying a keyboard:
1. Number of keys: No matter from which point of view, today's keyboards should be 108-key Windows 98 keyboards.
2. Types of keyboards: As mentioned above, keyboards are divided into capacitive and mechanical types according to the structure of the keys. From their characteristics, you can decide that you should buy a capacitive keyboard. 3. Type of interface: keyboard interface is divided into AT and PS / 2, USB interface (AT interface has been eliminated), if you are a newly installed machine, you should buy a PS / 2 interface keyboard, because newer motherboards do not have AT interface. When buying, you must be optimistic about this. Many people do not pay attention when buying. They leave with the keyboard and do not even open the packaging. When they get home, they know that they have made the wrong choice, which takes time and wastes money.
4. Feeling: The feeling of feeling is hard to say, because everyone feels different, so the feel of the keyboard is only known by myself. Others feel good, you may not be comfortable using it, as long as you try it and feel that it is suitable for you.
5. Keyboard workmanship: The keyboard workmanship affects the quality of the keyboard. The workmanship can be distinguished from the appearance, whether the surface, corners and other processing of the keyboard are fine and reasonable. A poor-quality keyboard has a rough appearance and poor key flexibility. Often, a certain key cannot be pressed to get up, which affects its use. 6. The arrangement of keys: When choosing a computer keyboard, you should consider whether the arrangement of the keys on the keyboard meets your habits. Generally speaking, computer keyboards made by different manufacturers have different key arrangements. [1]
Taking the most common electrical contact keypad as an example, the entire process of disassembling, cleaning, and installing the keyboard is introduced.
Step 1: Unplug the keyboard connector
Shut down the computer, and then pull out the keyboard connector (usually the keyboard connector of the PS / 2 interface is purple) from the host. Turn the keyboard over and pat it gently so that dust and debris can fall off automatically.
Step 2: Remove the keyboard case
There are usually a large number of fixing screws on the back of the keyboard. Insert the Phillips screwdriver into the position of the fixing screw and turn it counterclockwise to unscrew the screw. Unscrew the other fixing screws one by one, and place the screws uniformly.
Then turn the keyboard face down, and use a flat-head screwdriver to remove the seams on the rear panel of the mouse. Then you can easily remove the shell. At this time, you can see the internal structure of the keyboard.
Step 3: Clean the film
When you open the keyboard's rear panel, you can see the three layers of film embedded in the bottom plate. The three layers of film are the lower contact layer, the middle isolation layer and the upper contact layer. The upper and lower contact layers are pressed with metal circuit connections and circular metal contacts corresponding to the keys. The middle isolation layer is a layer of transparency. The thin film has round holes corresponding to the upper and lower contact layers. Remove the film from the keyboard, and use a dry cloth or brush to gently remove the dust or dirt near the keys, or wipe it with water before air-drying. If there is oxidation in the round metal contacts of the film, wipe it with an eraser.
Step 4: Clean the keys
All the keys of the electric contact keypad are embedded on the front panel. There is a rubber pad between the three layers of film on the bottom plate and the front panel keys. The protruding part of the rubber pad corresponds to the keys embedded on the front panel. After pressing the keys, the corresponding protruding parts on the rubber pads are recessed downward, so that the round metal contacts of the upper and lower contact layers of the film are contacted through the round holes of the intermediate isolation layer, thereby sending out the key signal.
But pay attention when removing the keys, first remove the rubber pad, and then use a screwdriver or other screwdriver to pull the keys from the bottom. However, you should note that on some large keys (such as Shift, Space, Enter, etc.), there will also be a metal bar. This metal bar is mainly used to fix the key, so the time to take out this key Be careful. But when you take out the keys, you must remember where the keys are located on the keyboard, otherwise don't blame me for not reminding you if you will not be able to install the keyboard. After all the keys and rubber pads are removed, they can be wiped with a damp cloth and air-dried. If the keys are dirty, you can scrub with a little detergent.
Step 6: Clean the inside and outside of the keyboard
Remove the circuit board from the base first, and then wipe the front panel, rear panel, and base of the keyboard with a brush or a damp cloth. Especially in the front panel and the seams of the keys, there will be a lot of dirt collected. It may not be easy to clean with a damp cloth. It is recommended to use a cleaning cloth.
Step 7: Install the keyboard
After the keys, rubber pads, films, and panels are thoroughly cleaned and air-dried, they can be installed. First of all, the keys are installed in accordance with the reverse method of disassembly in the front (note that the position of the keys should correspond to the position on the keyboard, and the direction cannot be reversed). Then put the circuit board back into the base and arrange the wiring. Then the rubber pads correspond to the keys one by one and are put in place. Then place the three-layer film on the rubber pad and determine whether it is in place. Usually there are some protruding screw holes on the base. You just need to align the round holes on the three-layer film with the screw holes on the base. can. It is recommended that you hold up the keyboard when installing the rubber pad and film. One is easier to install, and the other is that all parts can be installed in place. Finally, close the rear panel and tighten all the screws to complete the removal, cleaning and installation of the keyboard.
Nowadays, computers are becoming more and more useful. It is not only a tool for our work, but also a tool for our leisure. Watching movies and playing games has become an important task for computers. Many people like to eat or smoke in front of a computer, which actually has a great impact on the keyboard.
If a large amount of soot falls into the keycaps of the keyboard, it will greatly affect the feel of the keys. In addition, the tar in tobacco also has a strong corrosive effect on the film inside the keyboard. Being in a corrosive environment for a long time, it will also reduce the feel of the keyboard and cause irrecoverable damage to the film.
The effect of eating food is self-evident, the particles of food residues are larger, making the keys more likely to get stuck, and you must pay special attention not to spill drinks on the surface of the keyboard. If we spill water on the keyboard, we should immediately turn off the computer and unplug the keyboard. If there is no condition to disassemble the keyboard, we should also turn the keyboard upside down, pour out the water forcefully, and then dry the keyboard to ensure that Try it on the computer after the internals are completely dry. Generally, it will return to normal.
However, if it is a drink like cola, it is more troublesome. In addition to moisture, the sugar in the beverage will leave a layer of sticky film on the keyboard circuit board. of. Therefore, even if we buy a waterproof keyboard, we also need to pay attention to the above problems. If possible, we should try to dismantle and clean up.
No matter how we pay attention, it is impossible to completely avoid the problem of particle contamination, so regular cleaning of the keyboard is very necessary. The easiest way to clean up is to turn the keyboard upside down and tap the back of the keyboard with your hands. You will see that many small impurities in the keyboard will fall out. If we have the conditions, we recommend disassembling the keyboard and wiping the keys and the shell with a wet cloth, and the circuit board should be wiped with a dry cloth. Pay special attention here, do not use alcohol, it may also corrode the circuit board.

I. Basic Fingering Practice
Basic fingering exercises, that is, the practice of letter keys. The ultimate goal of basic fingering practice is to achieve keyboard typing:
(1) Middle-row practiceFirst, from your left hand to your right hand, press the keys three times one finger at a time, and then use your thumb to hit the space bar to find the fingering and feel, and try to figure out how to type. In the second step, follow the on-screen prompts with the practice software to find the correct key position until you can perform blind typing.
(2) Upper row key practiceBefore performing the upper row key practice, you must master the keystroke method of the middle row key, and follow the keystroke practice steps of the middle row key.
(3) Lower row key practice-The practice method of the lower row key is the same as that of the upper row key, and it is performed on the basis of the middle row key. Finally, you can mix three rows of keys to practice
Number key practice
Numeric key exercises are divided into main keyboard numeric key exercises and secondary keyboard (or numeric keyboard) numeric key exercises. The number keys on the main keyboard are typed with both hands, and the number keys on the secondary keyboard are typed with one hand with the right hand.
(1) Numeric key practice of the main keyboard-the left index finger manages the 4 and 5 keys, the right index finger manages the 6 and 7 keys, and the remaining fingers correspond to other numeric keys in turn. The finger should return to the middle basic key in time after the keystroke.
(2) Numeric key practice of the secondary keyboard-make sure that the indicator of the numeric lock key is on. If it is not on, you need to press the [Num Lock] key once to enable
Failure one: The key cannot be popped up
The main cause of this type of failure is the poor quality of the keyboard.
Solution: The stuck key can be restored to its original position. The best way is to remove the keycap and simply handle it, such as replacing the spring.
Trouble two: the internal circuit of the keyboard
The problem of the internal circuit of the keyboard is as follows: when entering a text, pressing a key appears two to three at the same time
Method 1: Press NumLoc after booting, first set the NumLock item to Enable in the BIOS, and then set the PnP With OS item to Enable in the BIOS. However, the NumLock keypad lock is closed when the user is logged out, and it must be manually opened.
Method two, open the registry editor, find HKEY_USERS \ .DEFAULT \ Control Panel \ Keyboard, change the value of InitialKeyboardIndicators below it to 2, exit the registry editor, restart the computer, you will find the numeric keypad The lights no longer go out.
Method 3: In addition, only a small operation on the config.sys file is needed to achieve this goal. The setting method is as follows:
1. Click the Run command in the Start menu, then type sysedit in the Open box and press Enter to open the System Configuration Editor window.
2. Click the Config.sys title bar, switch it to the current editing window, and then type the command line NumLock = ON in the editing area.
3. Save the changes and close the system configuration editor program window k key. Do nothing and restart. You don't need to press this button again in the future. [3]
