What is an input method?
Input method is a tool in the operating system or software program that allows the user of the computer to use the keyboard to enter characters that are not represented on the keyboard of a particular device. This method is often used to enter characters from the language with another alphabet and to allow writing letters with a numeric keypad. It was originally created to suit the Asian languages on the alphabet keyboards, although it has now spread to several other languages and alphabets. Since then, the term CJKV, which includes Vietnamese, has been created to cover all East Asian languages in which the input method is most often used. The input method can be implemented via a specially programmed editor or with several other methods, including the use of milestics, the Pinyin method or the Cangjie method.
Many systems use the input method editor (im(E) to translate one alphabet into another or to a number of characters. IME was created by Microsoft and now most of the main operating systems and technical companies involved in internationalization have been admitted. It requires it because of memory, most systems do not come with IME installed. For the same reason, most input editors will allow the user to select which languages to be installed and even make selections in the language. For example, a user can choose between traditional and simple Chinese.
TheCangjie method was created in 1976, which allowed the entry of Chinese characters. Originally used for traditional, but now also manages simple, Chinese. In this system, each key is assigned a specific graphics, such as a cross or a certain type of slash. The Le Multisk keyboards are then combined to create each character.
Another method used for Chinese is the Pinyin method. Pinyin is a system by which Chinese characters are translated into the words reported by the Roman alphabet. When using thisThese methods are the words of Pinyin, which are written on the keyboard, translated into Chinese characters on the screen.
dead keys can also be used as an input method. These are keys that do not enter separately when pressed, but adds a mark to this character when used before the letter. For example, the accent mark does not have to appear when the key is pushed, but if the letter "A" is selected, the accent appears in this letter.
