What Is a Ball Check Valve?
Check valves are also known as backflow valves, check valves, back pressure valves, and check valves. This type of valve is automatically opened and closed by the force generated by the flow of the medium itself in the pipeline, and belongs to an automatic valve.
- Non-return valve is an automatic valve used to open and close the medium when the medium flows in the pipeline system. Its main function is to prevent the medium from flowing backward, the pump and the driver.
- Spherical check valve is a check valve with multi-ball, multi-channel, multi-cone inverted fluid structure.
Structure and principle of spherical check valve
- The waterproof hammer energy-saving spherical check valve has a simple structure and is mainly composed of a spherical device and a valve body. The spherical device is composed of a ball cover and a rubber ball. The rubber ball is processed from a steel plate into a ball core and is lined with a rubber layer to maintain a certain elasticity and sufficient strength. The working principle is that the rubber ball rolls in the ball cover for a short stroke to open and close the valve. When the water pump starts, the water pressure flushes the rubber ball, causing the rubber ball to roll to the right, and the check valve opens; after stopping the pump, the rubber ball is forced to roll to the left due to the return pressure of the system, and the check valve is closed.
Advantages of ball check valve
- (1) Long service life, stable operation, safety and reliability, and good sealing performance;
- (2) The resistance coefficient is small. Because it is a ball valve, water flows almost straight through the valve body;
- (3) The shock absorption effect is good, and the water quality is not strict. [2]
