What is the caliper meter?
4 At least one of the arms moves to allow the space to be set until it suits the measured item precisely. The variations of this tool include the measures of the caliper, vernier and thickness. The second branch of the shoulders slips back and forth along the long side of the "L" to allow accurate mounting of the stirrups around the measured item. The incremental distances are marked on the long side of the "L" in a standard meter, starting with a zero, where two calipers meet when the gap is closed. The meters can also be equipped with a connected digital or dial to display results. Tips can come to a conical point for accurate measurements at the ends. Poinetted tips can have flat inner sides to close to the surface of the item. The tips of the caliper can bend 90 degrees in to adapt the grooved or threaded surface.
The dialing meter is specially designed for measuring an internal cylinder or pipe. Two are inserted into the cylinderThe bent tips and spread by setting the spring until the points are touched. The dial display has a frame that is reset before measurement to ensure accuracy. Some "L" caliper meters are also equipped with bent tips on the opposite side from conventional stirrups for internal diameter measurement.
Vernier Cliper meters add extra measuring gradient to the standard meter. Vernier scale uses a 90% standard scale on the meter to provide accurate reading for one more decimal place. Used when accuracy is necessary.
Sometimes must be measured by the thickness of the fabric or belt on the processing device. For this purpose, a modification of the caliper called the thickness of the thickness can be used. From the handle at one end, the two arms extend to the side with flat or rounded spring peaks that point to each other at 90 degrees of angles from the arms. The arms slide over both side of the belt or a piece of fabric and the meter reads the thickness when the fabric or the fabric oro The belt passes between the arms.
