What is a cement mill?

cement mill is an installation used to grind the concrete component. Skinker is a tough, nodular material produced by the aluminum and limestone in the cement furnace. There are several types of cement mills that are able to grind the clinker, the most common ball mill. Koujové mills consist of rollers partially filled with a large number of steel balls that use their rolling action to crush the raw material when each cylinder rotates. High -pressure cylindrical mills are sometimes used to grind the clinker, although their use has not yet received a wide acceptance.

The main component of Portland cement is the supply product of limestone and alinosilicate known as the clinker. This hard, pebble material similar to the material is a component in a cement that causes it "heal" and solidifies to form mortar or concrete used so much in the construction industry. The process of the salinning or thermal process of the clinker creates a rough, nodular material of the special hardness that raises JEmotional grinding before cement production. The particle sizes are required below 45 µm, which, thanks to the hardness of Clinker, requires a particularly effective milling process. Although there are several types of mills capable of grinding the clinker, the most commonly used cement mill process is a ball mill.

spherical mills are highly efficient grinding systems that submit a relatively low level of heat and pressure. They consist of a large diameter, rotating cylinders or drums driven by electric engines. The drum is partially filled with high-chrome steel balls or occasionally cubes. They roll freely inside the cylinder when they turn. This cylindrical action crushes the clinker with impact and then gently crushes them due to friction between the balls.

spherical mills often have an intermediate partition that divides the cylinder into two sections with different sizes of balls to progressive grinding in one mill. Effective grinding of the clinker in a ball millIt is subject to a narrowly controlled drum speed. At the speed of rotating speed above the critical speed of the mill, the content is simply forced against the sides of the drum with a centrifugal force with small or no grinding. The size of the balls is also an important aspect in the cement mill. If the balls are too large, the raw material will not be sufficiently grounded.

Several other milling processes are capable of grinding cement clinker, although none is as suitable as spherical mills. The most common alternative process of cement mill is a high -pressure cylinder. This process uses sets of hardened steel cylinders, which brings the clinker. Although these mills are effective and less expensive for running, the narrow size of the particles they produce is sometimes problematic. However, Roll Mills are often used as the first -stage processes in the installations of ball mills as an initial phase of crushing, reducing the overall process time and increasing productivity.
