What is a Freight Elevator?
Cargo elevators are mainly designed for transporting goods, usually accompanied by elevators. The freight elevator car is long and narrow. - 1. The machine room shall be managed by maintenance and overhaul personnel. Other non-professionals shall not enter at will. The machine room shall be locked and marked with the words "the machine room is heavy, and idlers are not allowed to enter."
- 2. The machine room must ensure that there is no possibility of rain and snow intrusion, good ventilation and heat insulation, and dehumidification should be kept clean, dry, dust-free and corrosive gas. Except for tools and equipment necessary for inspection and maintenance, there should be no other items.
- 3. A fire extinguisher capable of extinguishing electrical fires shall be provided in the equipment room.
- 4. When the elevator is not used for a long time, the main power switch of the machine room should be turned off.
- 5. Except for the elevator equipment specified in the hoistway, no sundries shall be stored and water pipe gas pipes shall be laid.
- 6. The shaft shall be kept clean and tidy, and there shall be no tower ash or dust.
- 7. The guide rails and door slideways should be kept tidy, and the oil boxes should ensure that the oil level is suitable.
- Eighth, well lighting, car roof lighting, bottom pit lighting should ensure sufficient illumination, timely replacement of damaged bulbs, switches.
- Nine, the bottom pit should be convenient to go up and down, no debris, no stagnant water, should be cleaned frequently and kept tidy.
