What Is a Ground Compactor?
Side trench compactor is a mechanical equipment that uses its own gravity and vibration to compact various building and road building materials. In highway construction, side trench compactors are most suitable for compacting various non-cohesive soils, crushed stones, crushed stone mixtures, and various asphalt concrete materials, and are therefore widely used. - use
- 1. During operation, the side roller rolling machine should start before starting the shock, and the internal combustion engine should be at medium speed before modulating the high speed.
- 2. Stop the machine first when changing speed and changing direction, and reduce the engine speed when changing speed.
- 3. It is strictly forbidden for the roller to vibrate on solid ground.
- 4. When rolling loose roadbeds, they should be rolled 1 or 2 times without vibration, and then rolled with vibration.
- 5. When rolling, the vibration frequency should be consistent. For adjustable vibratory rollers, the vibration frequency should be adjusted before operation. The vibration frequency should not be adjusted without vibration.
- 6. The adjustment of the reversing clutch, starter clutch and brake should be performed after the main clutch is disengaged.
- 7. Do not use fast gear when going uphill or downhill. During sharp turns, including articulated vibratory rollers rolling in small turns, fast gears are strictly prohibited.
- 8. The roller must not engage vibration when driving at high speed.
- 9. When stopping, stop the vibration first, then place the reversing mechanism in the neutral position, put the transmission in neutral, and finally pull up the handbrake control lever. The internal combustion engine will stop after idling for several minutes. [2]
