What is a locking pulley?

Locking pulley is a type of pulley that locks the cord in place when the cord is properly manipulated. This pulley is found primarily on the blinds of household windows on the consumer market, but also has limited commercial and navigation use. Locking pulley is a simple pulley, with the exception of two rounds instead of one. When the cord is pulled out, it moves one of the wheels, causing the entire mechanism to lock. This allows the user to maintain blinds or any object is attached to the pulley on the spot without holding the cord. When the operator pulls out one end of the cord, the object raises the object at the other end. The main difference between a locking pulley and a simple pulley is that the second round allows a locking function.

The same basic mechanics is used with a blocking pulley, but the operator can lock the cord in place and can leave and leave the object suspended. This is done by pushing the larger ones from both wheels by pulling the cord to the right or outside. When this bike comes out, a smaller wheel falls forward and koLa presses the cord to trigger the lock.

Unlocking the blocking pulley is done in the opposite way. The operator pulls the cord inwards or left from the pulley. This pulls the small wheel back into the alignment and the larger wheel falls back to its original position and releases the cord.

The use of locking pulleys was mostly in the consumer sector. Ordinary household blinds use this mechanism so that operators can lift the blinds to release the sun. Limited commercial and navigation use is usually used for these purposes.

While the locking pulley is advantageous because it allows the operator to keep the cord in a certain position, Few also has problems. If the locking mechanism is used frequently, it can shred the cord because the large wheel is wearing teeth. They have more moving parts and require the strength to lock the pulley in place so that they can disintegrate faster than other pulleys. Some people also mIt is difficult to find that the locking and unlocking the pulley is difficult, because the cord must be overcast in a certain way for the mechanism to work.
