A metal detector is a widely used detector. There are three main categories: electromagnetic induction type, X-ray detection type, and microwave detection type. They are electronic instruments used to detect metals and can be applied in many fields.
In the military, metal detectors can be used to detect metal mines; in the security field, they can detect weapons or crime tools that they carry or hide; in archeology, they can detect ancient tombs with buried metal items, and find gold and silver treasures And jewelry or other metal products; in engineering, it can be used to detect underground metal buried objects, such as pipelines, pipelines, etc .; in mineral exploration, it can be used to detect and find natural gold particles; industrially, it can be used for online monitoring, such as removing cotton , Coal, metal debris in food, etc. [1-2]

Metal detectors not only detect
Metal detectors for the food industry
In the food industry, metal detectors are mainly used for the detection of metal impurities. There are two types of metal detectors for food: belt type and pipeline type. The belt type is a conveyor belt. When food is placed on the belt and passed through the probe, it will alarm or stop if it contains metal impurities. Pipeline type is mainly free-fall type, food
the first
1. Turn on the power switch (8). When you hear a "click" sound, the power is on and the green light is on. If the green light is off, the battery is not installed or the battery is not in good contact. If the continuous sound or vibration continuously indicates that the battery can no longer be used, the battery should be replaced with a new one.
2. Sound and vibration switch selection: press the red button switch (10), the alarm mode is vibration. Release the red button switch (10), and the alarm mode is sound.
3. After turning on the power, you can perform high-sensitivity detection. Hold the handle to scan the detection surface around the measured object. When there is a metal object, an alarm sound or vibration will be emitted. At the same time, the green light will change to red light; The alarm sound or vibration will stop and the red light will turn green.
4. Low-sensitivity test: If you need to exclude small objects in metal, you can press and hold the low-sensitivity switch (7). When scanning around the measured object, an alarm sound or vibration will be issued when there is a metal object. At the same time, the green light will turn into a red light; when the scanning is stopped, the sound or vibration will stop and the red light will turn into a green light. Because the sensitivity is reduced by more than 5 times. Therefore, generally large metal objects are detected at this time.
Sensitivity adjustment:
1. If the detection distance does not meet the required requirements or the sensitivity is too high to cause instability or to emit sound or vibration to the human body without metal scanning, sensitivity adjustment should be performed.
2. Put the sound and vibration switch (10) in the "release" state, and use a small
A flat-blade screwdriver protrudes from the small hole in the handle of the detector to rotate clockwise to adjust
Turn to the sound, then turn it counterclockwise to turn it to the right, and then turn it counterclockwise half a turn, until the sensitivity meets the requirements.
Precautions
1. Do not forget to turn off the power after use.
2. Remove the battery if not used for a long time.
3. When the probe is fixed against a metal object, it will not make sound or vibration, it will only make a sound or vibration when it is swept over the metal object.
4. When charging, turn off the power switch (8). Charger voltage: AC 9V; DC 10V. (Charger supplied)
The world's first metal detector was born in 1931. It was invented by Dr. Fisher (Gerhard R. Fisher) in the Fisher Laboratories in Palo Alto, California, and was named Metalloscope (M-Scope for short). ) And patented. [4-5]
