What is a tubular pump?

The

pump is a simple but effective pump design that relies on the sequential narrowing of the length of flexible hoses to move the fluids through the process of positive shift. There are two basic forms of these devices, namely rotary and linear, which achieve the same result by limiting the tube in different ways. The tube pumps are particularly effective in pumping sterile or dangerous fluids, where the liquid is completely isolated from the surrounding environment and vice versa. The pipe pump or peristaltic pump, as is also known, is suitable for pumping low or high viscosity and is commonly used in the chemical, medical and cleaning industries where high flow rates are not required.

The

rotary tube consists of the length of flexible pipes with one end connected to the liquid tank and the other forming the pump discharge. Pump -technism consists of a circular case with lala rotor in the center equipped with round wheels or shoes at the end of each lobe. The tube is located around one half of the housing so that the lobes are pushing against and limiting it as they pass through the half of the housing. As this happens, a positive shift forces the fluid in the tube in front of the tapered point for the flow along the tube in the direction of the rotor rotating. At the same time, the tube returning to its open state, when the rotor shoe passes, attracts more liquid to the tube to move forward with another passing shoe.

4 Just above the tube is a series of flat plates stacked against each other. Each plate has an identical profiled hole in its upper half and all the holes are clinging. The sequential cam for these holes, which, after turning, cause the boards to move up and down, and gradually reduce the tube. This pulsating narrowing of the tube moves through the fluid through the system through the same principle of the positive shift that can be seen in the rotary hose pumpAdle.

The

pump is an ideal system for drawing fluids with different viscosities at moderate speeds and highly predictable discharge values. The pump design with a closed circuit is ideal for moving sterile or dangerous fluids, which is unacceptable cross contamination between liquid and environment. Thanks to these functions, this pump system is a good choice for certain chemical processes and for drawing intravenous fluids or drugs into infusion systems. Tubular pumps are also often used in cleaning systems where they are used as dosing mechanisms for detergents and water softeners.
