Exhaust-driven diffuser () means
Device's downforce manufacturing capability. This design has appeared in F1 history. In 2010, F1 legendary design master Adrian Newey was introduced again on RB6.
The new exhaust pipe, which is lower than the suspension lower wishbone, is almost attached to the racing floor. The previous row

The trachea exit position is the same as that of other teams. In the upper part of the gearbox, its longitudinal position is located between the upper and lower suspension arms. The lower exhaust pipe arrangement is good for diverting the airflow at the rear of the car, but it inevitably brings more "baking test" to the rear suspension and floor. To this end, the team attached heat sensors to the lower part of the outlet of the exhaust pipe, suspended the lower wishbone and suspension rods to carry out detection and measurement. After the high-temperature engine exhaust gas is discharged through the exhaust pipe, it passes through a window cut into the diffuser and enters the interior of the diffuser. By increasing the extraction volume of the diffuser airflow, a larger pressure difference is created, which in turn increases its downforce generation. This design can provide high energy airflow to the rear diffuser, which means that when the driver steps on the accelerator, he can get more downforce, so the car will be very strong at high speed corners.
