What is the water main?

The main water is the primary gas pipeline used to move water from the cleaning and treatment plant to the consumer. The water network is also known as primary feeders and brings in which smaller water lines known as secondary feeders that extend the range of water distribution network. Individual structures are connected to secondary feeders to connect to the water supply. The network is a key aspect of the water distribution system, causing to keep the network in good condition to prevent drinking water supply.

Before reaching the main, water must be obtained. Water can come from underground sources, tanks, diverted rivers, collected precipitation, etc. Many communities use tanks as storage equipment for their water supply to increase water safety by ensuring that the water is widely available. The tank contains untreated water, because there is not much to treat water for storage, especially if water can be exposed to drainage from the outflow -free source.

Some cities have problems with infrastructure with their water supply due to poor maintenance. In these regions, parts of the old pipelines have not been replaced due to worries about costs or lack of planning, and as a result these pipes fail and create water problems.
