What is a water solenoid valve?

Water solenoid valve is a device for control of fluid flow used to allow or reduce water flow using pipes. They are usually one -piece units consisting of a piston or valve and solenoid coil. The valve stem is connected to the solenoid plow so that the valve mechanism opens when the solenoid is activated, allowing water to flow. When the solenoid power is cut, the valve returns the piston back to its seat, closes the flow of water and reset the solenoid. Solenoid valves are usually used on smaller water supply systems, such as systems they encounter in washing machines, domestic and agricultural irrigation and industrial installation of light. Due to the linear output movement of solenoid output, the valves are typical Vertical Rise Piston or plates. Depending on the intended surgical specifics of the water solenoid valve can be made of corrosion -resistant metals such as brass or stainless steel, or be made of differentplastic. Solenoids may contain coils evaluated for network voltage AC current (AC) Power supply or low current supplies with low voltage (DC).

Most examples of water solenoid valve are one -piece units with solenoid mounted on the upper part of the valve body. Slok solenoids are either connected to the valve stem or can form one integral unit. When the solenoid is activated, the plunger is pulled up very quickly to the core of the coil. As it moves, it lifts the stem and the piston away from the valve seat, which allows you to pass water. The stem of the valve is loaded onto the spring and during the activation it is raised against the spring voltage.

When the power is cut on the water solenoid valve coil and releases the piston, the accumulated voltage in the spring cleverly returns the piston to its seat, closes the water flow and reset the solenoid in readiness for the next cycle. Solenoids usually generate relativsLow power compared to other types of drive. For this reason, the water solenoid valve is generally used in relatively light applications. These include valves in washing machines and dishwashers, small irrigation systems and light engineering or industrial plants. Saler valve applications with heavier power are usually seen by high -out output controls, such as electric motors with gearbox and rotary hydraulic types.
