What is a reel strap?

The winch strap is a fabric strap, often made of Kevlar®, which is used instead of a steel cable on the winch. The steel cable often gets hot and causes the reel user injury. The cable also tends to rust and develop weaknesses that may break at pressure. The steel cable also tends to wedge together, causing it to get stuck, while the winch strap easily expands and the reel coils are much more arranged than the cable. When used in a factory or in the production environment, requirements for safe operation are a necessity. Many production accidents stem from the breakdown of the reel cable or the fragmented strands of the wire that can cause serious cuts. Changing to the winch eliminates the risk of cuts and abrasion from the fragmented steel cable. Maintenance injury

also becomes a much less problem when using a winch. With a winch equipped with a steel cable, the cable should be regularly uninhabited and checked for broken strands of the wire. Steel cable of reel bY should also be oiled to avoid rust and then stretch to the winch properly to prevent cable binding. The practice of control of dimensions often leads to injury to staff examining steel cable.

Exploring the winch strap is a much easier task. The winch strap is easily not mentioned from the reel coil and is controlled in terms of cuts and abrasion. After checking, the reel strap is included back on the winch and is ready for use. Simply replaced the cut the reel strap, saving time before trimming the frayed steel wire with cutting pliers. Starting of the fabric reel requires no lubrication or special treatment.

One of the advantages of using the strap instead of the cable is in the hook connection. On a winch equipped with a steel cable, the hook is connected to the cable using cable clamps. Over time, the terminals can relax and fail, causing the hook and its suspended load to collapse to the ground. On the contrary, the hook is connected to the strap by sewing the strap back together with the Kevlar® fiber. This style of hook connection is almost resistant to failure, as all fibers would have to fail at the same time to release the hook.
