What Is an Electric Hydraulic Pump?
Electric hydraulic pump is a kind of hydraulic component that provides pressurized liquid for hydraulic transmission. Its function is to convert the mechanical energy of power machines (such as electric motors and internal combustion engines) into pressure energy of liquids.
- The output flow can be adjusted as needed
- The components of a hydraulic system should be composed of the following five main parts:
- 1. Energy device It is a device that supplies pressure oil to the hydraulic system and converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. The most common form is a hydraulic pump.
- 2. Execution device It is a device that converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy. Its forms include hydraulic cylinders that perform linear motion, and hydraulic motors that perform rotary motion. They are also called actuators of the hydraulic system.
- 3. Control and adjustment device It is a device for controlling or adjusting the pressure, flow or flow direction in the system. Such as relief valve, throttle valve, directional valve, on-off valve, etc.
- 4. Auxiliary devices Other than the above three parts, such as fuel tank, oil filter, oil pipe, etc. They are essential to ensure that the system works properly.
- 5. The fluid that transfers energy to the working medium, that is, hydraulic oil.
- Check the voltage of the machine before using the electric hydraulic pump, and check whether the plug and socket are connected properly.
- 1. Daily check the fasteners of the product, such as whether the screws are loose, and check whether the installation pipe connection is leaking.
- 2. Check the cleanliness of the oil seal. Oil seals need to be cleaned frequently to prevent affecting the service life of the machine.
- 3. It is recommended to replace the hydraulic oil after the first 500 hours of work. The maximum interval for hydraulic oil replacement is 2000 hours, and the maximum replacement cycle with air filter is 500 hours.
- 4. In order to optimize the service life of hydraulic components, please replace the hydraulic oil and filter regularly. Hydraulic pollution is the main cause of damage to hydraulic components. Keep the hydraulic oil clean during routine maintenance and repairs.
- 5. In daily use, check whether the oil level of the hydraulic oil tank meets the requirements, and check the water content of the hydraulic oil and whether there is any abnormal smell. When the hydraulic oil contains water, the oil is cloudy or milky, or water droplets settle at the bottom of the tank. When the oil has a foul odor, it indicates that the operating temperature of the hydraulic oil is too high. When the above situation occurs, please replace the hydraulic oil immediately, and find out the cause of the problem and solve it. Check the vehicle daily for leaks.
- 6. During trial operation and operation, the axial piston pump element must be filled with hydraulic oil and exhaust air. After a long period of downtime, oil filling and venting operations are required because the system may drain oil through the hydraulic lines.
- 7. Pollution has fatal damage to the hydraulic components. It is necessary to ensure that the working environment for maintenance and repair is clean. Before starting maintenance or repairs, thoroughly clean the pump or motor.
- 8. Regularly replace the hydraulic oil and filter of the system according to the recommended standards to ensure that the system runs efficiently and safely, and replace the vulnerable parts regularly.
- 1. Non-designated operators are not allowed to operate electric hydraulic pumping stations.
- 2. Check the electrical system and grounding conditions before pressure test.
- 3. Check whether the pressure gauge range and accuracy level meet the requirements of the hydraulic test process file.
- 4. Check whether the hydraulic oil of the pressure test pump station meets the requirements of the hydraulic test process file.
- 5. Check whether the pipeline connection between the hydraulic pump station and the hydraulic cylinder (or other pressure-testing parts) is correct according to the requirements of the hydraulic test process file.
- 6. The pressure increase must be slow and overpressure is not allowed. After the pressure increase, it is forbidden to hammer the oil cylinder (or other pressure test parts) and the connecting pipeline. If any defects are found in the oil tanks and pipelines, the pressure should be reduced to zero before handling them. Work under pressure is not allowed.
- 7. Hydraulic test procedures and steps.
- a. Adjust the overflow valve of the hydraulic pump station to 0 position, start the hydraulic pump station, and adjust the overflow valve to slowly pressurize.
- b. Inspect the oil cylinder and connecting pipes for leaks.
- c. According to the "Hydraulic Cylinder Hydraulic Test Process File", pressurize and hold pressure test.
- d. After the pressure test is completed, close the hydraulic pump station, open the oil return vent valve, and drain out the hydraulic oil in the cylinder and the connecting pipeline.
- e. Remove the connecting pipes. The nozzles of oil tanks, pumping stations and pipelines are sealed with plastic to prevent dust and impurities from entering.
- f. Test the qualified products (or unqualified products) in the designated qualified product area (or unqualified product area).
- g. After the pressure test is completed, it is strictly forbidden to disassemble the connected pipeline under pressure.
