What is the Low-e glass?

Low-E glass is a type of glass that performs visible light while controlling heat passage. Low-e means low emissivity. This glass is an energy efficient way to control the allowed heat and out of home or environment. There are different types of low E -glass glass to satisfy the needs of changing climate. This is the speed at which glass flows through it. The lower the U-factor evaluation, the more energy efficient the glass is. Low-E glass allows you to go through visible light, but blocks the ultraviolet light generating heat, which requires less artificial heating or cooling to keep the room at the desired temperature.

This glass works by reflecting heat back to its source. All objects and people release different forms of energy, which affects the temperature of space. The energy of the long wave radiation is warm and the sun light is visible with a short wool. The energy of the long wave energy to keep the heat in the desired location.

Low-E glass comes in high, medium and low profit panels. In particular, the cold climate is maintained and reflects back into the house to be warm. This is achieved with high solar panels. In a particularly hot climate, panels with low solar gain to reject excess heat are working by reflecting it back outside the space. Slight solar profit panels are also available for areas with temperature fluctuations.

Low-E glass is glazed with an ultra-thin metal coating. The production process applies it either with a fixed or soft coat. The soft -coated low E glass is softer and easily damaged, so it is used in isolated windows where it can be between two other pieces of glass. Hard-coated glass with low e-e-e-e-mail and can be used in individual windows. Can also be used in projects to deliverEquipment.

generally costs low-e windows between 10 and 15 percent more than standard. Reducing energy loss can be 30 percent to 50 percent. The windows made of this type of glass are initially a larger investment, but they pay for themselves by reducing heating and cooling costs.

Visibility was a problem with some of the first low -level glasses because the allegedly original boards had a brownish shade. Technology and production continued to improve its quality, resulting in spectrrally selective glass, which allows the best visibility with heat filtering.
