What Is Pervious Concrete?
Permeable concrete is also called porous concrete, sandless concrete, and permeable floor. It is a kind of porous lightweight concrete made from aggregate, cement, reinforcing agent, and water. It does not contain fine aggregate.
Permeable concrete
- The technical indicators of permeable concrete are divided into indicators of mixture and indicators of hardened concrete.
- High permeability
- The pervious floor has a porosity of 15% -25%, which can make the permeation speed reach 31-52 liters / meter / hour, which is much higher than the discharge rate of the most effective rainfall under the best drainage configuration.
- High carrying capacity
- Approved by the national inspection agency, the bearing capacity of the permeable floor can fully meet the bearing standards of C20-C25 concrete, which is higher than the bearing capacity of ordinary permeable bricks.
- Decorative effect
- The permeable floor has a color optimization ratio scheme, which can cooperate with the designer's unique creativity to achieve the decorative style required by different environments and personalities. This is difficult to achieve in general permeable bricks.
- Ease of maintenance
- The pore clogging problem that people worry about is not necessary. The unique water-permeable paving system makes it easy to solve by simply washing with high pressure.
- Freeze-thaw resistance
- The water-permeable pavement has stronger freeze-thaw resistance than ordinary concrete pavement, and it will not be affected by freeze-thaw, because the structure itself has larger pores.
- Durability
- The permeable floor has better durability and abrasion resistance than asphalt, and is close to the ordinary floor, which avoids the shortcomings of common permeable bricks such as short service life and uneconomical.
- High heat dissipation
- The low density of the material itself (15-25% voids) reduces the ability to store heat. The unique pore structure allows lower underground temperatures to be transmitted to the ground and thus lower the temperature of the entire pavement floor. These characteristics make the permeable paving system In terms of heat absorption and heat storage function, it is close to the ground covered by natural vegetation.
- Fatigue strength
- Due to the use of open-graded mixtures, the fatigue resistance is low.
- With the development of social economy and the process of urban construction, the surface of modern cities is gradually being
